Funding an Air Source Heat Pump and Underfloor Heating for a new musical rehearsal facility in Amersham
Amersham Band is a brass band based in Buckinghamshire.
We are committed to high quality music-making by developing and nurturing local brass players. The band provides appreciation of music together with cultural and social development for its members and enriches the local community through concerts and a wide range of other community events. We have three bands with nearly 100 players and there is strong demand for further groups.
We have started a project to build our own rehearsal facility in Amersham town centre which will improve the accessibility of learning music throughout the local community, in particular to young people, senior citizens and people from disadvantaged back-grounds.. A suitable site has been identified, a lease is signed and planning permission has been granted for a new purpose-built community building.
When completed, the facility will also be made available for other local community groups such as choirs and local music ensembles. The project is a unique opportunity for Amersham to have a first-class music facility and cultural resource.

We want our new premises to be environmentally friendly, harnessing renewable energy therefore we have included an Air Source Heat Pump and underfloor heating system in our new design.
An Air Source Heat Pump draws in heat from the air outside and then transfers this heat to provide the heating needs by distributing it via underfloor heating

Many thanks for your support
