Aid For Ukraine Run - 10 of 10!

Aim

This is Andy’s tenth and final Ukraine run. The plan is to leave mid September, taking a van filled with essential supplies.

Andy’s first Ukraine aid run was July 2024, taking a Nissan X-Trail loaded with supplies. Travelling with another volunteer, who has now completed 25 trips. Subsequently, through the help and kindness of friends and business contacts, we have been able to carry out a further 8 trips, taking medical aid, generators, mechanics tools, camping equipment, clothing, bedding etc.   

The vehicles used have been donated to worthy causes in Ukraine, and we have made our own way back to the UK. This trip is no different, we are looking to source a suitable van, fill it with donations, drive 2000 miles to Ukraine and deliver. This van is expected to be used as evacuation transport. 

On this final trip, we propose to take Andy’s old motorbike and ride it home from south of Dnipro, as public transport is now heavily targeted by the Russians.

For this trip, the following items are desperately needed:

- Generators

- Power Banks

- Wet wipes

- Money to make it happen!
