In the heart of Gaza, where conflict and hardship have taken a heavy toll, the innocence of childhood is under siege. The Middle East Children's Alliance (MECA), led by the passionate Dr. Mona El-Farra, my mother, is at the forefront of a critical mission to bring relief, support, and a glimmer of hope to these children, who constitute half of Gaza's population.

Our Mission

We are launching a fundraising campaign with the goal of raising $20,000 to address the immediate and long-term challenges faced by Gaza's youngest and most vulnerable. The devastating impacts of famine and violence have left countless children displaced, orphaned, and bearing the deep scars of trauma. With your help, we can provide essential food parcels, support services for families, and impactful community projects aimed at nurturing resilience and recovery.

Why Now?

As attacks on Gaza intensify, the urgency of our mission has never been greater. Innocent lives are at stake, and the need for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid is critical. Through MECA's network of dedicated volunteers and the leadership of Dr. El-Farra, we have a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of children who have endured unimaginable suffering.

About MECA and Dr. Mona El-Farra

The Middle East Children's Alliance, based in Berkeley, California, has been a beacon of hope for children in conflict zones for years. Dr. Mona El-Farra, a dermatologist turned human rights activist, leverages her medical expertise and compassionate leadership to spearhead initiatives that relieve trauma and support the physical and emotional well-being of children. Her acclaimed blog, "From Gaza with Love," and her book have brought global attention to the plight of Gaza's children, inspiring action and solidarity.
