Raising funds to create a documentary showing how Ahava helps people overcome addiction, leave homelessness, and rebuild their lives.

My vision for “Ahava: Where Hope Begins” is to create more than just a documentary—I want to create something that truly moves people, challenges perceptions, and inspires action.

This film is about shining a light on a community that is quietly transforming lives every single day. A place where people battling addiction and homelessness are not judged or overlooked, but welcomed, supported, and given a real opportunity to rebuild. It’s about showing the journey—from rock bottom to stability, from isolation to belonging, and from surviving to thriving.

I want this documentary to capture the raw, honest stories of individuals who have walked this path. Not just the struggles, but the breakthroughs. The moments of doubt, the small wins, and the life-changing connections that make long-term recovery and reintegration possible. Too often, these stories go untold or are misunderstood—this project aims to change that.

At its core, this vision is about humanising an issue that many people only see from the outside. It’s about showing that with the right support, structure, and community, real change is not only possible—it’s happening.

Through this film, I hope to raise awareness, break stigma, and inspire others to support or even replicate what Ahava is doing. Because this isn’t just about one community—it’s about what’s possible when people come together with compassion, purpose, and belief in second chances.

This is the story I want to tell. And this is why it matters.
