Help Us Build the Future of Gymnastics in Deeside
We are developing a new gymnastics facility in Banchory to expand opportunities for children and young people across Deeside — but we are currently £32,000 short of fully equipping it.
Work is already underway and this project is happening.
However, without this funding, we cannot open at full capacity or provide the level of training local children deserve.
Demand for gymnastics across Deeside continues to grow, with many children currently on waiting lists.

About the project
Aboyne Gymnastics & Trampoline Club (AGTC) has been providing gymnastics in the Deeside area for many years. Starting in Aboyne, the club has grown into a well-established community organisation supporting children and families through recreational classes, trampolining and competitive pathways.
Our new facility in Banchory will allow us to expand classes, improve safety and provide opportunities for many more young people to take part in the sport.
Why we are fundraising
Developing a dedicated gymnastics facility requires specialist equipment to ensure sessions are safe, progressive and accessible for all abilities.
The funds raised through this Crowdfunder will help us purchase essential gymnastics equipment including:
- training mats and safety matting
- balance beams and bars
- trampolining equipment
- Foam training modules for younger gymnasts
- inclusive equipment to support children with additional needs
This equipment will allow us to deliver a wider range of classes and create a safe environment where children can build confidence, strength and resilience through gymnastics.
Every donation directly contributes to the equipment needed to open this facility safely and at full capacity.
Growing with our community
As the club expands its provision with the development of our new gymnastics facility in Banchory, the organisation is also preparing for a future name change.
Aboyne Gymnastics & Trampoline Club (AGTC) began in Aboyne and has grown steadily over the years. As we now serve a much wider part of the Deeside community, we are planning to adopt the name Royal Deeside Gymnastics Club, reflecting the wider area we support.
While the name may evolve as the club grows, the club itself, its coaches and its community values remain the same.
