The project aims to raise money for a short film - "Against the current" - funds raised will cover travel and food for cast and crew.
"Against the Current" is a short film written and directed by Delilah Rose Niel.
Roz is stuck in a rut when the universe starts to give her strange signs. Following these signs leads her to meet Bradana who is going through a similar situation. The two women undergo a strange transformation.
The film will combine various mediums including animation, craft and live action - as well as having an original soundtrack.
The film will be shot in Edinburgh, Queensferry & North Berwick. We hope to cover travel expenses and prop costs with any money raised.
Delilah is an independent filmmaker/photographer based in Glasgow & Edinburgh. She currently maintains a YouTube channel and film page on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/delilahfilms/). She is chiefly inspired by the work of Michel Gondry, Jane Campion, Tove Jansson and Franz Kafka.
This is Delilah's first project which she has both written and directed, please make her dream come true!!!
