Aim
This Crowdfunder is to raise money to cover costs of organising the 2026 AG Rugby Festival
We are players and staff from SHU Rugby and Sheffield Tigers RUFC who organise the annual AG Rugby Festival in memory of both Alan George, who was as a massive driving force for Rugby in Sheffield, as well as a mentor to many players, and Director of Rugby at local clubs, and our former player and friend, Felix Rozenbroek.
This year, the 2026 AG Rugby Festival will be held on Saturday 6th June at Dore Moor in Sheffield (home of Sheffield Tigers Rugby).
Why are we crowdfunding?
We are crowdfunding to raise money to cover the costs of organising the 2026 Festival.
The AG Rugby Festival is a fun packed, family day out which features three main rugby matches, plus entertainment, music, prizes and food.
Given the ongoing economic climate, this year the festival will once again be 'free entry' so everyone can come along and join in a fun day out.
Obviously, organising a fun, safe festival comes with costs attached, which is why we are running this Crowdfunding campaign, so that we can cover costs with the donations from this Crowdfunder, and from sponsorship money, and have free entry for all.
Please donate and help us make this festival a fitting tribute to both AG and Felix.
