Aim

After the cameras go home, the people living along the Trisuli in Nepal will be left to find a way to cope - we will be there to help.

After the catastrophic flood of the 26th August 2026, Nepal and the communities along the Trisuli will need help for a long time to come. The current situation is extreme

In the immediate aftermath of a disaster like this, people rush to help, causing a lot of confusion and creating an extra workload for the authorities. After the initial surge, the help will disappear.

* We're raising funds to be there helping communities to recover when they will most need it - after the cameras have left.

People will be living in tents and temporary shelters for months, possibly years. Women and girls are especially vulnerable; menstrual hygiene and so-called disposable pads will become an issue unless we step in.

* We will be distributing fully washable period packs and delivering hygiene seminars for women and girls.

59 schools have been washed away or damaged; The Nepal Government will rebuild them.

* We will work with teachers to equip schools and deliver specialist courses on resilience.

This disaster is along a corridor; many communities haven't been featured in the Media. Places like Devghat in Chitwan, 110 kilometres downstream from Trisuli Bazar. The town was engulfed and is now a graveyard for all the people upstream.

* We will be working with the communities most in need of our help, no matter where they are.
