The Norwich Dad Walk Group is holding an Adventures with Dad: Dad and Kids Disco, to raise money for Dadvengers and the work they do supporting fathers.
PLEASE NOTE: THE 11AM SESSION IS NOW SOLD OUT! Younger children are welcome to the 1pm session, but the session will be more aimed for slightly older children.
What's happening?
We will be having two mini-discos on 17th September 2023 at the Queens Hill Community Centre; tickets cost £3 per child (you can, of course, donate more if you wish!).
Tickets are sold strictly on a first come first serve basis.
- 11am to 12:30pm for ages 0 to 6 years (SOLD OUT)
- 1pm to 2:30pm for ages 6+
(Age range brackets are for guidance only and not strict!)
Fancy dress is optional, and there will be various prizes on offer for best Dad Dancing and other party games! We will also have a quiet room if your child needs a break from the music at any time.
Alongside the Discos, we will also have cakes from The Accidental Baker, an Ice Cream Van and other food and refreshments available for you and your little ones

How to purchase tickets:
Payment for tickets should be made directly via a donation of £3 per child (you can, of course, donate more if you wish!) to this Crowdfunder page, and once you have donated please email [email protected], including:
- Your name
- The number of tickets you have paid for
- The session you are attending (11am or 1pm)
We will then send you a unique ticket. This is required to enter the disco. Children must be accompanied by a parent / guardian for the duration of the event.

If you have attended a walk or followed our journey you'll know how beneficial what we do is to families and how empowering it is to the dads. The long term goal is to have Dad Walk groups all over the UK, a bit like 'Park Run', but we'll need plenty of support before we get anywhere near that. Which is why we hope you'll be able to support us in any way you can.
