Adapted Cycling Chesterfield

Aim: With another adapted trike and Triobike for our Cycling Without Age project we're raising funds for a new storage container.

Who are we?

Inclusive Pedals is a social enterprise (Community Interest Company) providing cycling opportunities for all. We deliver free bike repair workshops, adapted cycling, Cycling Without Age and a Community Cycle Club with a mix of paid trained mechanics and a team volunteers.

Why are we crowdfunding?

We're crowdfunding to raise the funds to purchase a new storage container to house our expanded fleet of adapted cycles.

Sport England have generously offered half the funds needed so we are hoping to raise the balance from local groups and individuals.

How we’ll spend the money raised

The money raised will be used to purchase another storage container which is needed because we have just been given another adapted trike by a private donor and Bolsover District Council are going to loan us another Triobike to expand our Cycling Without Age project.

Community impact

We deliver monthly free adapted cycling sessions which are regularly attended by 20+ riders and their carers. The Cycling Without Age project visits two car homes weekly taking residents out to local parks. With the expansion of our fleet and storage to house them more members of the community will have the opportunity to take part.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!

4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
