Supporting less privileged communities is important to me. Visiting Mothers2Mothers & Waves4Change in 2024 inspired me to do more #Giveback
I was lucky enough to grow up never worrying about where my next meal would come from, whether I could see a doctor when I was sick, or if I’d have a bed to sleep in at night. But for millions of people around the world, these basic needs are not guaranteed.
That’s why I’m fundraising for Comic Relief, an incredible charity that supports life-changing projects tackling poverty and injustice. Last year, I had the privilege of visiting two of these projects: mothers2mothers and Waves for Change, and I was deeply inspired by their work.
🌍 mothers2mothers empowers women living with HIV by training them as community health workers, providing life-saving education and care to other mothers and children, ensuring babies are born HIV-free and families stay healthy.
🌊 Waves for Change uses surf therapy to support children and young people facing trauma and mental health challenges, giving them a safe space to heal, grow, and build brighter futures.
Seeing these projects in action made me realise just how much of a difference we can make. Even a small donation can change lives. Please consider supporting my fundraiser—every penny counts!
