14th March 2016Action-for-Cabbies UPDATE on the 11th hour personal appeal to Steve McNamara of the LTDA from Artemis Mercer
The 2.00pm deadline for Steve McNamara of the LTDA to respond to the question I’ve been asking since Friday 11th March 2016, has passed without a murmur from Steve.
I don’t know if this is because they are deliberating what to do next or whether they’re hoping AFC will just move on (which we can’t) as the magnitude of what the Trade is facing can not simply be swept under the carpet.
AFC, LTDA members and the Trade at large really need to know where the LTDA stand in regards to TfL wrongly licencing Uber in 2012, so I kindly ask you once again Steve, will the LTDA make up the difference of approximately £259,277? So Action-for-Cabbies can start legal action against TfL for licencing Uber in 2012.
If you need more time to consider, that’s not a problem as Crowdfunder kindly agreed to extend the campaign to give the LTDA as much time as it needs to make a decision (so please let me know either way).
AFC can also provide any additional information if required, all you need to do is let me know and we’ll provide it.
As previously stated, a simple YES/NO will suffice.
Kind regards
Artemis Mercer
