Aim

Provide Acocks Green with Councillors independent of the 3 austerity enforcing parties, no more cuts to our services. It's time for CHANGE

  • Member of Unite the Union,  Disabled People Against the Cuts, People's Assembly; community activist both locally and  nationally
  • After decades of fighting for peoples rights, for justice, inequality and fairness and 15 years of austerity it's time Acocks Green and Birmingham had Councillors ready to make a stand for our communities. I would definitely sign and promote a Brummies against racism & hatred pledge.
  •
  • The Bin workers have been out on strike for over a year, not for a pay ris1776466891_screenshot_2026-03-17_at_16-21-26.pnge but to KEEP the (£8000) pay that they already receive - yet Councillors had a 5.6% rise. They should lead by example not line their pockets even more. Most already have well paid jobs as well as Cllr allowance.
  • I represented tenants during stock transfer to protect Council housing and as a voice for tenants on the Inquiry (Anne Power report). Nothing has really moved on since, homes are in disrepair, numbers are dwindling and demand is increasing with families sharing a room in hostels on hotels.
  • I've witnessed Social Care move from a service to meet social needs to drastic cuts that have led to disabled and elderly people facing abuses and neglect as the service now meets councillors cuts driven financial needs.
  • Special education has seen many of our kids lose their transport and even had hours cut from their school hours.
  • Day centres and libraries have been closed or had hours cut, yet these are vital hubs for the Community providing company for the lonely, computers and books plus a wealth of advice and general information
  • Council tax has risen drastically with very little provided
  • NO MORE CUTS
  • NO MORE GARAGE SALES of Birmingham assets
  • Build MORE council housing 1776467084_screenshot_2026-04-14_at_15-12-05.png
  • The list goes on and .
  • IT's NOW TIME TO CHANGE and VOTE for your Independent neighbours who share in your despair at BANKRUPT BIRMINGHAM, the Council who got us there. Let us be you voice.
  • We are true socialists who care about everybody in our community = that means you.

  • Promoted by Joe Foster at 11 Kerby Road, Birmingham B23 7EX on behalf of Jae Robinson and Eamonn Flynn
