Mae Prifysgol Aberystwyth yn bygwth cau Neuadd Pantycelyn ar ddiwedd y tymor. Nid oes dyddiad ail-agor, nac ychwaith unrhyw drefniadau i ddechrau ar y gwaith o adnewyddu'r neuadd.
Mae hyn yn warthus o ystyried yr ymrwymiad i ddyfodol Pantycelyn a wnaed llynedd, gan gofio bod ynewydd yma yn torri yng nghanol cyfnod arholiadau myfyrwyr.

Aberystwyth University have threatened Pantycelyn halls of residence with closure. The university have not proposed a timetable for re-opening Pantycelyn, nor any other arrangements regarding renovation.
Considering last year's commitment made by the university to the future of Pantycelyn following last year's campaign we are extremely dissappointed with their decision to close the hall. The timing of this decision, at the end of term and in the middle of the exam period is a demonstration of the university's disgraceful handling of this situation.
The university's decision to close Pantycelyn is not yet final, and we will fight to keep Pantycelyn open as a home for future students. Your help will go towards the campaign costs such as pamphlets, printing, posters, sound systems, banners etc
