To build an accessible compost toilet and improve tracks so that more people can enjoy the woodland space.
Connect- Create- Conserve
At Branch Out Education we want to create a Community Woodland Hub- a space where people can connect with nature and each other, learn new skills, be creative and conserve the land for future generations.
We would like to make our woodland events accessible to all. To do this, we need to build toilet facilities and improve access tracks for wheelchair users and pushchairs.
The project will use timber from the woodland, milled on site and built by experienced local crafts people and our volunteer group. Monies raised will be used to pay for the labour and materials needed. Any extra funds will be spent on stone and woodchip to maintain and improve our access tracks.
