Aim: The cost of living crisis will hit vulnerable families hard. Supporting Gul is enabling those families to access our provision at no cost

Gul works with people of all ages, the only requirement is they have a need that can be met with activities that take place using the outdoors.

Inside school hours Gul provides Alternative Provision to over 200 young people from over 85 schools, outside of this Gul provides support for a further 150 people of all ages offering holiday activities, after school clubs, adult mental health support, training and education and participates actively in its communities.

However a typical beneficiary is aged 8 years old attends school on a temporary basis due to a pre-existing condition such as Autism and attends Gul once per week for structured therapeutic sessions with the aim of allowing them to return to their school fully. Gul has a 50:50 gender split trending more towards girls.

In 2023 Gul has a number of exciting projects aimed at broadening our reach to vulnerable people, particularly neurodiverse young people through a combination of hiring staff and retaining maternity cover staff to enable outreach.

Can you help us achieve our aims? Gul needs your help and every penny will enable us to support more people struggling with their mental health.
