I am passionately raising money for a charitable cause that holds great significance in my heart. For the past 12 years, I have been battling the debilitating condition of Endometriosis. This condition is not only under-researched and underfunded, but it also leads to an alarming amount of dismissal from the medical field towards women like me. I have faced gaslighting, dismissive attitudes, and toxic behavior while desperately seeking help, all while enduring excruciating pain. Endometriosis has cost me jobs and robbed me of countless opportunities. It’s important to understand that Endometriosis is not just about ‘painful periods’—it means struggling to walk, feeling unable to engage in romantic intimacy, and often just managing to complete the bare minimum amidst relentless fatigue. After a long 12-year fight, it took just one compassionate doctor to truly listen to me, leading to my long-awaited diagnosis, allowing me to envision a life beyond this struggle.
