Abseiling down Spinnaker Tower for ESC

Aim: I am continuing to challenge myself now with an abseil down Spinnaker Tower, so please donate if you can and help me reach my target!
As you know this cause is close to my heart! A condition that affects approximately 190 million individuals globally, yet remains widely misunderstood and underdiagnosed. Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the uterus, leading to chronic pain, infertility, and a host of other debilitating symptoms. These can include nerve pain, chest pain, painful intercourse, anxiety, and depression.
For many, the journey to diagnosis is long and arduous. On average, individuals experience nearly nine years of misdiagnoses and dismissals before receiving appropriate care . This delay often exacerbates the condition, leading to more severe health complications.
Having undergone 17 surgeries and ultimately a hysterectomy, I have navigated this challenging and often isolating path. Through my involvement with Endometriosis South Coast, I am committed to advocating for a more cohesive and compassionate healthcare system. This includes pushing for earlier diagnoses and better support for those affected.
To raise awareness and funds for this cause, I am participating in an abseil event on 5th July down Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth. This endeavor symbolizes the courage and resilience required to confront the challenges of endometriosis and adenomyosis. By supporting me, you'll contribute to a movement that seeks to transform the current fragmented system into one that offers timely and effective care.
