Hello!
I've been writing constantly since the release of my last CD "Everything Ends" (crazily that was 4 years ago now!) and I've got SO many songs that I'm not only very happy with but that have passed the gigging test and gone down really well! I feel that its time to bring them to life in the studio and to share them with you sounding their best!
because of the lockdown I, like many other artists, am in the position of not having any work in what would have been the busiest time of the year and not knowing what the gigging scene will look like post-corona. This has meant the shows and festivals and days busking in the sunshine that I had lined up for this spring and summer are no longer there to fund the album - but I'm determined to make it happen, and I'd love for you to be a part of that :)
(UPDATE: I’ve altered the target to £600 to make it more likely to reach and to help with eligibility for extra funding that will only be available if we reach the target - at £600 the album is 100% going to happen. The full recording and producing of the album will cost around £2500 so any amount raised over the £600 target will still go towards creating it)
The album will consist of 10 original tracks (most of which I've already picked out and recorded demos for!) and will be produced by the extremely talented Clovis Phillips at AddABand Studios.
When I write songs and when I perform live it always consists of just my voice and my acoustic guitar and I plan to keep the songs close to how they sound live but with some added excitement and a fuller feel.
Although, thanks to Covid-19 and the lockdown I can't physically go to the studio, a large percentage of the project can be done remotely with lots of sending audio stem files and ideas back and forth... Thankyou technology!!

The album will be sent out to pledgers as soon as it's ready and won't be available to the public until at least a month after that as that will be the time for promoting and getting ready for a launch.
