Aim

The Abergavenny Town Hall Clock Needs Your Help. This iconic landmark needs restoration to protect it for future generations.

For generations, the Town Hall Clock has been part of daily life in Abergavenny.

Many of us have memories connected to it - hearing the bells in the night, meeting friends beneath the tower, or spotting the green roof as you arrive in town.

After more than 150 years, the clock tower now needs restoration.

Repairs are required to the mechanisms, bells and pulleys, along with cleaning of the clock faces.  We are also working towards automating the clock to make it easier to maintain in the years ahead.  If enough funding is raised, we aim to clean the roof and regild the weathervane too.
