Who are we?
We are a thriving village based crown green bowling club with 125 members. We have teams who bowl in various Huddersfield leagues and run club competitions as well as social events for members. Membership ages range from 16 to 90 years. Our facilities are also available to other organisations on request.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Our toilet facilities are now out of date and require modernisation to bring them up to standard for our members. Our ladies toilet will also include adaptations for members with mobility issues.
How we’ll spend the money raised
The ladies and gents toilets will be ripped out, and fitted with new modern fixtures as well as a new ceiling, lighting and flooring.
Costs are as follows:
Purchase of fixtures and fittings - £6,084
Plumber - £7,000
Electrician - £1,500
Flooring - £1,000
Community impact
The facilities will be used by both members and visiting teams/supporters to the club as well as providing essential modern facilities that we are proud to offer for all users.
Looking ahead, we will have future proofed facilities for all members and guests and prospective new members.
