We wanted to build on the success of last year’s light switch on, so its back with the addition of a Christmas Market on the Evesham Road.
Astwood Bank is more then just a village, it’s our wonderful community. Over the last few years the Astwood Bank Community Group (ABCG) have introduced the Christmas lights to Astwood Bank following a consultation with the community as to where you would like some of the funds that we give out to go. Last year we took it a step further following further feedback that the community would like a switch on event.
To run the Christmas lights each year comes at a cost. The big news is that following last years switch on event we have further improved this and will also be running a Christmas market but we do need a little bit of support from you.
Last year our lights were left broken by the storms and that, plus the cost of storage and re-installing them, is a significant investment for us. If you can spare absolutely anything to allow us to continue to light up the Bank and spread some festive cheer, we would be so grateful.
