Aim

We're looking to raise funds to complete the coffee shop project at RPM premises having just been let down by a key investor

About us

RPM Analogue Audio Ltd opened 4 years ago as a specialist retailer of vintage HiFi equipment. In March 2024 we moved to a fantastic 3 storey building in a prominent position in Bearwood High Street with the intention of expanding our business to include the following-

RPM studios

We have installed and refurbished a vintage large format mixing console (Soundcraft Reims) and also installed a soundproof recording booth. There are a few finishing touches but the studio should be up and running by the end of October. We will be able to offer recording, production and mastering of music projects as well as post production facilities (ADR, editing, SFX, soundtracks) for film/tv/gaming/online content etc. We will also have the facility for recording professional quality audio for voiceover work, podcasts  audiobooks and so on. In addition we can offer analogue to digital tape transfer and archiving.

RPM records

The record shop will offer pre loved vinyl/cd/cassette releases. The record shop is almost complete and should be trading in the next few weeks.(we need to finish the plumbing for the coffee shop so we can box in the paperwork and install the remaining display shelving)

Blue Room at RPM

Blue Room will be a coffee lounge that offers gourmet barista coffee  in a relaxed environment with high end vintage audio equipment for a unique audiophile experience. In addition we plan to use the space for a series of intimate "micro gigs" to support and promote new upcoming talent - we have done a couple of "proof of concept" events which have been very succesful and we are determined to continue to support emerging talent locally.

We have purchased a fabulous Gaggia "LaDecisa" espresso machine alongside a Luigi Mazzer grinder, and we are part way through installing the plumbing etc to get the machine up and running. We had planned to be fully operational by the end of October.

Unfortunately one of our key partner/investors has had to pull out leaving us short of the necessary capital to complete the project in time for the planned opening date of October 24th

We are looking to raise £3k for the following

Plumbing and installation £500

Fridge £350

Building of bar etc £500

Furniture £1000

Fixtures and fittings £400

Decor £250

It's essential that we can get this work done as quickly as possible -

We can't finish the record shop until the plumbing has been installed and boxed in as it runs through the record shop

We need to get the coffee machine serviced etc before opening for business

We have live music events booked in from end of October and it would be a shame to have to cancel

We have invested so much time, energy and money into the project so far and it's really frustrating to have this setback when we are so close to completion.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank-

The staff at RPM Analogue Audio Ltd for their efforts in helping to make this happen (Carlton, Martin, Colin, Louis, Sana)

Alastair, Harvey, Tom, Dan for their hard work on the RPM studio

Anthony Duffy for helping make the RPM Records store become a reality

All our family, friends, customers and who have offered encouragement and support
