A village hall fit for the community's needs

Aim

To upgrade the AV facilities to allow day-time TV and film shows which will help to bring the older community within the parish together

Installing a modern sound and vision system to show films and TV programmes to the community.

Coldridge Village Hall is the centre of the parish community and hosts a number of events all run by volunteers, including toddlers, over-60's, gardening, Pilates, Community Painters, Gardening Club, Women's Institute. Alongside these we regularly show films for which no charge is made, and important televised events such as New Years Eve, Wimbledon, Rugby, Formula One, National Events and anything else which will be of wide interest to the community. We regularly attract 20% of the population to these events. in order to continue with these, and to offer users better facilities, and need to replace the outdated equipment, with wire running across the floor with a professionally installed projector and speakers.

A set of 5 speakers to give full surround sound, and a ceiling mounted remote controlled 5000 lumen projector. This will be linked with a 1080P HDMI transmitter, a Yamaha mixer amplifier, along with the required cables and equipment to make it all work.

This will enable us to show more day-time TV to attract some of the older and isolated members of the community to get out more and meet up with neighbours
