We aim to raise £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support, raising awareness of breast cancer while taking on three challenges.
A Three-Part Project
I’m raising money and awareness for breast cancer and Macmillan Cancer Support, with the hope of making a difference to people and families affected by cancer.
This is now a three-part fundraising project, with each challenge designed to push us out of our comfort zones while raising as much money as possible for this amazing cause.
🏃 Part 1 – The Half Marathon
The first part of the challenge is running a half marathon.
I won’t be doing it alone — Sam's son Jenson will be taking on the half marathon alongside me. It’s going to be a real challenge, but we’re determined to complete it together and raise as much money as we can.
🪂 Part 2 – The Bungee Jump
For the second part of the challenge Ryan and Lennon will be taking on a bungee jump to raise even more money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
It’s a huge challenge for both of them, and one that will definitely push them outside their comfort zones — but they’re willing to take the leap for a very important cause.
🏐⚽ Part 3 – The Charity Event
The third part of the project will involve a netball tournament, along with a football charity match.
We’re hoping to bring people together, have some fun and, most importantly, raise money and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support.
❤️ Why We’re Doing It
Cancer affects so many people and families, and Macmillan provides vital support to those facing some of the toughest times in their lives.
Every penny raised will help Macmillan continue supporting people living with cancer and their families.
We would be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small. Every contribution will help us get closer to our £1,000 target and, more importantly, help make a difference to people affected by cancer.
So please donate whatever you can and support us through our three-part challenge.
Thank you so much for your support — it genuinely means a lot to all of us. ❤️
Sam’s journey with breast cancer began when she was diagnosed, and hearing the words “you have cancer” changed everything for all of us in an instant.
Watching her go through the diagnosis, treatment and everything that comes with it has been incredibly difficult. There have been good days and very difficult days, and times when you simply don’t know what the future holds. But throughout it all, Sam has shown incredible strength and determination.
I wanted to take something that has been such a difficult experience for us and turn it into something positive. That’s why I decided to take on this fundraising challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Sam’s two sons, Jenson and Lennon, have also been affected by their mum’s diagnosis. It has been incredibly hard for them to see someone they love going through cancer, but they have both wanted to get involved and do something to support their mum and help others facing the same journey.
Jenson will be taking on the half marathon, while Lennon will be joining me for a bungee jump. We are all taking on our own challenges, but we are doing it together for one important reason — to raise money and awareness for breast cancer and to support Macmillan.
This is very personal to all of us. We know that cancer affects entire families, not just the person diagnosed, and we want to do whatever we can to help others who are going through the same frightening and difficult journey.
Every donation, no matter how small, will mean so much to us and will help Macmillan continue supporting people living with cancer and their families.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support. ❤️
