Aim: A musical comedy about one woman’s journey from mop bucket to rock stardom — through parody, heart, and a dash of magic.
A Tribute to the Band is a genre-hopping, light-flashing, soul-stirring one-woman musical parody — telling the story of an undermaid’s journey from domestic drudge to interdimensional rock star.
Created and performed by Cazz Regan — parodist and spontaneous spirit — the show blends razor-sharp humour, reimagined lyrics, and a love of storytelling that’s been bubbling under the surface for years. After a lifetime of rewriting songs and making friends laugh, she’s stepping into the spotlight with her first original one-woman show.
Meet Honourabelle Mention: a plucky maid from a city corner who discovers that music can do more than heal — it can cross dimensions, change minds, and unite even the most unlikely beings.
What started as a lockdown daydream and a pile of parody lyrics has grown into a full-scale musical journey — heading to Edinburgh Fringe at TheSpace @ Niddry Street, 18–22 August.
Our Team:
Cazz Regan – Creator, writer, performer. First solo show, endless creativity. She’s the magic behind the mic.
Aurie Bonvin – Producer and co-writer. A storytelling shapeshifter trading centre stage for spreadsheets — with sparkles.
Clementine Beeson – Director. A lifelong theatre-maker with a passion for finding the heart of a scene (and making it sing).
Elene Hadjidaniel – Voice actor. A guiding voice in the show and in the journey. Words are her world — and now, ours too.
Bryn Jones – Lighting designer, rigger & accidental aerialist. Once a humble lampy, now a circus-snatched tech wizard with a flair for flight (and drama).
Why We’re Crowdfunding?
We’re thrilled to be taking this show to Edinburgh — but indie theatre isn’t cheap, and even magic has a budget. Your support will help us:
- Rent the venue
- Travel and accommodate our team
- Hire rehearsal space
- Create props and costumes
- Design and print marketing materials
- Pay registration, insurance, and tech fees
…and maybe celebrate with a much-needed toast at the end 🎉
We’re not aiming for luxury — just enough to do this properly, ethically, and with a pinch of fairy dust for the people making it happen.
If you believe in the power of music, humour, and beautifully absurd stories — or just want to help a bunch of dreamers bring something joyous into the world — we’d love your support.
Help us turn up the volume. The multiverse is listening.
