We DO know: Several players played for Liverpool Football Club during the Champions League 2001-2003, including Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, and Jamie Carragher. About ACDHPT, our story and why we need your help
Dear Reader,
We need your help. We are fighting for the right to present our evidence in court to prove that the pregnancy testing drug, Primodos, caused life-changing effects on our babies, just like the devastating effects suffered by Thalidomide babies.
This drug was created by one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the world, leaving us fighting against limited time and funds, facing huge organisations with unlimited funding and time.
But we are not giving up. Our aim is to raise enough funds to continue our legal action in the Royal Courts of Justice on May 2nd. We know it's a big ask, but we need your support.
Some of our families were left with babies who suffered dreadful, life-limiting birth defects, but survived. The mothers of these damaged babies have suffered immense guilt for decades, while their children, now adults, have had their lives ruined. As their carer-parents age, they will soon be left alone.
Many of our babies did not survive. They were stillborn, miscarried, or declared incompatible with life, like being born without the top of their heads. Yes, you read that right. It was on the death certificate. 'Incompatible with life'.
Makes you think, right?
We thought we would have our day in court to expose the truth about the devastating effects of these synthetic hormones, which were very lucrative to the Manufacturers and the UK Government. But time is running out.
We cannot let this happen again. The only way to make sure of that is to acknowledge the mistakes made and compensate for the harm caused. We need your help to ensure this never happens again.

Ricky is famously known for his roles as Bobby Grant in Brookside, DCI Charlie Wise in Cracker, and Jim Royle in The Royle Family, and playing the title character in the film Mike Bassett: England Manager (2001). Plus heaps more!
Ricky has been a fierce advocate for the survivors of the Thalidomide scandal, and now he's lending his voice to the families affected by the Primodos drug scandal.
For years, these families have suffered in silence, burdened by guilt and the devastating impact of this drug on their lives. As their loved ones age and their own health deteriorates, they face the prospect of being left alone to cope with the aftermath.
