Aim

I’ve been writing this book in the quiet moments for years. Now I’m inviting others to help it take its next step.

I started writing this story in 2020, at a time when my life felt paused between chapters. I was living in Sweden then, listening to a writing podcast one ordinary day, when something quietly clicked. I realised I was ready. Not to plan endlessly or dream vaguely, but to actually begin the book I’d been carrying around in my head for years.

What followed wasn’t a straight path. This story has been written, rewritten, reshaped, and re-imagined more times than I can count. Names changed. Scenes deepened. Characters grew quieter in some places, louder in others. I’ve edited the book four times now, not because it wasn’t working, but because it was—and I wanted to do it justice.

At its heart, this is a story about memory, love, loss, and the spaces between worlds. It’s inspired by the stories that shaped me growing up—fantasy that feels emotional rather than epic for the sake of it. Stories where magic exists alongside grief. Where relationships matter as much as destiny. Where quiet moments can be just as powerful as battles.

Writing this book has become a constant in my life. No matter what else was happening—work, family, moving countries—it was always there, waiting for me to come back to it. Every time I sat down at my computer, I felt that same pull: the sense of stepping somewhere familiar, somewhere that belonged to me.

Now, I’m at the point where this story is ready to take its next step. Crowdfunding isn’t just about printing a book or covering production costs. It’s about inviting readers into the journey—about giving this story the chance to exist in the world in the way it deserves.

By supporting this project, you’re helping bring a carefully built world, its characters, and their story out of my notebooks and into readers’ hands. You’re backing years of quiet work, persistence, and belief in a story that refused to let go.

Thank you for being here. Whether you support, share, or simply read this page, it means more than I can say.
