A new community space for everyone in Barton

Aim
Help us create a beautiful community space in the heart of Barton where everyone living here can experience friendship, hope and support.
For many Christmas is a time of celebration, of friends and family gathering together for fun, food, and festive cheer. The Christian message of Christmas is one of Hope - one of light in the darkness and people finding strength in difficulty.
But here at Love Barton we believe that community and hope should not just be for Christmas, but something we experience all year round. We believe that beautiful, welcoming, community spaces are key to individuals experiencing this and flourishing.
That's why we are super excited to be picking up the keys to a disused shop unit right in the heart of Barton. Our vision is to transform the space into a beautiful place for:
- Parents to connect over coffee while their children play
- Teenagers to hang out safely off the streets
- Any one struggling to find practical and listening support to get them through a difficult time
We've made the first step to our dream by securing a 10 year lease on the shop as well as securing funding to cover the running costs going forward. But as you can see from below the space needs some considerable work to become the beautiful space we envision.
This Christmas time we are looking to raise £5000 to cover some of the initial costs of getting this new community space up and running. Could you help us reach our target by donating to our campaign?
