With a surge in referrals for children struggling to cope with trauma, we urgently need your help to reach as many families as possible.
Who we are
Dandelion Time is a small farm-based charity working with the most vulnerable children affected by trauma, abuse or neglect.
What we do
Based on a three peaceful rural sites across Kent, families take part in calming nature-based activities such as pottery, baking, sowing seeds, collecting chicken eggs and caring for the donkeys and other animals to strengthen family bonds and create happy memories.

Why we need your help
We urgently need additional support to meet the increased demand for our nature-based programme for traumatised children. We have over 50 children awaiting placements. The money raised will fund the delivery of our core therapeutic programme, as we receive little statutory funding and have to secure the majority of funding on an annual basis from charitable grants, donations and fundraising activities.

"We have loved meeting and spending time with the animals each week. We have learnt so many new things which we can bake at home now too and have lovely crafts we have made together to keep. Most of all we have wonderful memories we have made together that we shall treasure forever" - Parent
