A Musical Masterpiece for Mary!

Aim

To have a bespoke piece of music composed by internationally renowned fiddle play and composer, Adam Sutherland for Mary.

It’s Mary’s 60th Birthday on 1st October this year. By then, Mary will have finished work and will hopefully be enjoying her hard-earned retirement. Mary's had a tough year and I'd love to make her birthday extra-special.

I’ve been thinking about what kind of present to give Mary. Rather than give her something which she’ll enjoy enjoy for a short time, I thought it would be great to give her something that would last forever! So, what is it? A specially commissioned piece of music in Mary’s name! So, who could I ask to compose such a piece? I thought hard about the musicians and music that Mary loves and my conclusion was Adam Sutherland! For this project to happen, I need to raise £750 for a basic tune on fiddle with written score or £950 for a fuller layered composition.
