To raise a campaign fund so that Baron Fullstop (aka Paul Brockman) can stand as a parliamentary candidate for the Official Monster Raving Loony Party in the General Election on May the 7th 2015 in the Worcester constituency. . Our target covers the £500 deposit . Baron Fullstop is also an Ordained Minister in the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster , RAmen to fellow Pastaferians .
Voting at 18, Pet Passports & Pubs opening all day are Loony policies that have passed into English law . Because the Official Monster Raving Loony Party don't have to worry about feathering nests & hitching rides to Brussels on the gravy train, their candidates can concentrate on being sensibly loony.There will be lots of lunatics on your ballot paper but only one will be Official!!
To this very day the British voter still does not have the option of placing their X in a box marked 'Non of the Above' at local and national elections. How do you register your disapproval of modern day politricks ? you could spoil your paper or not bother to vote at all (but a vote that is not cast is a wasted vote.) or you can vote Official Monster Raving Loony Party , a vote for the OMRLP is a timely reminder that we are still here and that we will still have faith in our democratic right to be heard.
MP's work for us and when they say that the Loonies are 'just taking the mickey' remind them who started it , whilst our policies are deliberately humorous many of theirs are laughable . Our satirical demands and thoughts put a smile on peoples faces and provoke friendly political debate , we are Loonies not nutters.
I am doing something no other prospective candidate will do , I'm issuing Loony Bonds @ £5 and if by some chance I should retain my deposit I will buy the bonds back at face value . ( Please keep in mind that no Loony candidate has ever retained his/her deposit )
