Aim

Our aim is to transform our field at Jane Pitt in Workington into a safe and welcoming community hub for young people enjoy youth rugby.

Who We Are

Derwent Park Rangers is Workington’s only youth rugby league club, run entirely by dedicated volunteers who believe every child deserves a safe, supportive and inspiring place to grow. We provide opportunities for young people across our community to stay active, build confidence and experience the positive values of teamwork, discipline and belonging.

Why We Are Crowdfunding

We are launching this crowdfunding campaign to improve the facilities at our home ground, transforming Jane Pitt into a safe, secure and welcoming community hub with children and rugby at its heart. As a volunteer-led club, we rely on the generosity of supporters to give our young people the environment they truly deserve.1776246960_img-20260331-wa0019.jpg

How We Will Spend the Money

Funds raised will go directly towards:

  • Upgrading and repairing essential facilities
  • Creating safer training and playing environments
  • Improving access, equipment and community spaces
  • Building a base that supports long-term growth and sustainability

Every penny will be invested in providing a better, safer experience for every child who steps through our gates.

Community Impact

Your support will help us provide a place where children can develop resilience, build friendships, meet positive role models and feel part of the Derwent Park Rangers family. A stronger, safer club means a stronger, safer community. Together, we can create a hub that benefits young people today and for generations to come.
