Cheshire West and Chester Green Party
30th April 2025Update on April 30th 2025
A massive thank you to those who donated to Chris' Crowdfunder for the by-election. It has been an incredibly busy 5 weeks in the run up to Thursday's poll.
Your hard-earned money has been vital in our efforts and has been used to:
Print and send a leaflet to every household in the constituency via Royal Mail.
Print 20,000 copies of a second leaflet, delivered in the constituency on three major volunteer Action Days during April. (Thank you to all the volunteers that came to the Action Days and who put in the hours leafletting door to door. The kindness and camaraderie shown at these events was truly heartening).
Boost Chris' posts on social media, targeting constituency postcodes, particularly on Facebook and Instagram. (Thank you to the local team who have been running Chris' social media campaign).
Chris himself has been super-busy out campaigning. Last Tuesday, Chris spent the day with Zack Polanski, Green Party Deputy Leader and both were interviewed by BBC News on key issues in the area. They highlighted delays with getting cladding replaced at "The Decks" in Runcorn, the impact on residents of the air pollution from the Weston Point incinerator and also PCB ground water pollution in Helsby. On Wednesday last week, Chris took part in an election debate on BBC Radio Merseyside with four other candidates. On Thursday, Chris answered questions from residents at a hustings hosted in Helsby. During the campaign, Chris has been contacted for comment by The I, The Guardian, ITV, Channel 4 and local print, radio and TV news. This week Chris is continuing to campaign, promoting our party right up to the wire.

If you live in the constituency, don't forget to vote tomorrow.
Thank you again for your support, we could not have completed any of the above without your contribution.
Best wishes from
The Runcorn & Helsby Green Campaign Team
