A #2minutelitterpick Board for Verulamium Park

Aim
The Inn on the Park and Plastic Free St Albans are partnering to raise money for a litter picking board for Verulamium Park.
The #2minutebeachclean team have, for a few years now, been placing boards around UK beaches to encourage visitors to take just 2 minutes to do a quick litter pick. The boards have litter pick sticks and bags, and give instructions on what to do. People are encouraged to share photos of the litter they pick up on social media, to spread the message. The campaign are expanding their reach by launching #2minutelitterpick boards, for inland locations. We would love to have one in Verulamium Park, ready for the summer. It would be placed near the Inn on the Park, and the staff there would be the "guardians", putting it out in the morning, taking it in in the evening, and making sure that the board is stocked up with sticks and bags.
Plastic Free St Albans is supporting the Inn on the Park in this because we believe that everyone has 2 minutes to spare to make a positive difference! We want to encourage everyone to take responsibility for keeping our town beautiful...and to take a look in their litter pick bags and think about just how much is unnecessary single use plastic.
