Using makeup to build confidence

My name is Vanessa, I've been working as a makeup artist for the last 11 years and currently work from my home studio

There are men and women out there who struggle with there appearance, perhaps they are under confident in there makeup routine, blind, dealing with the loss of there lashes and eyebrows through cancer or perhaps they have a condition, marks or scars such as port wine stains or dark pigmentation

in the past I have worked closely with organisations like "look good feel better" the local blind college and most recently "changing faces" who are all working to boost confidence

i am starting a business called "the makeup box" I am currently looking for a suitable premises to work from and plan to offer a makeup service that is different to anything else currently available in worcester

department stores are good at offering advice on the products they sell and the internet has been a great help for those looking for ways to improve there appearance through makeup, but I believe that there is nothing better than hands on one to one advice from an Independent person who can help and advice in an impartial way

To summarise the business with offer

A makeover service

-bridal, special occasion, proms, false lashes, skin camouflage makeovers etc.....

An educational service

-makeup workshops to individuals or groups, guidance on how to use skin camouflage, where they can seek help

A retail service

-retailing products and accessories

i want women to help women feel confident and beautiful, funding would enable me reach more people through a professional permanent premises and offer a wide range of make up and equipment for everyone
