Brooks community cafe is in need of a new fridge, freezer and cooler to keep food fresh and edible.
Brooks community cafe is in need of a new fridge, freezer and cooler to help keep food fresh and edible.
Brooks community cafe is a thriving hub based in Patchway. People come here to enjoy a wholesome meal from our chef Lee's creative specials menu and socialise.
Our cafe provides friendly and welcoming space for older people, mothers & babies and young adults with learning difficulties. We have a sewing group that meet weekly and a play corner for children. Our cafe is generally for people who want to actively socialise in their community and eat healthy, affordable food.
We are members of Fareshare and get a variety of food delivered weekly for a low cost membership fee with which Lee the chef produces some great meals. So no set main menu it literally changes from week to week but it is always guaranteed to be delicious! Brooks cafe is run by 1.5 paid staff members and a volunteer team of 6 plus 1 apprentice.
We are a not for profit organisation and often struggle to find unrestricted funds to pay for these shorts of necessities. Will you help us?
