We're raising money to provide a life saving Defibrillator to Christ Church Primary School to ensure Safety for Children, Staff & Visitors.

We're raising money to provide a life saving Defibrillator for Christ Church C.E (CV) Primary School and the surrounding community to ensure Safety for Children, Staff, Visitors and the Public in the unfortunate but frequent case of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest.
By having the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) available to the surrounding public 24/7 this means that we can help cut death tolls that are increasing every year.
The AED is going to be installed on the outside of the school to be available 24/7 to both the School and the local community, access can be gained to the lockable heated cabinet after calling 999 and receiving an access code. This process allows the patient to receive the appropriate vital therapy before the arrival of an Ambulance Crew. If the defibrillator is placed onto the patient who is in Cardiac Arrest within 3 minutes they will have a 70% chance of survival.
The amount we're trying to raise is £2500, this will fund:

- Heated and Lockable AED Cabinet** -£690
- AED Carry Case - £80
- AED Ready Kit - £19.70
- 2 x Adult Pads - £50
- 1 x Paediatric Pads - £60
- Signage - £38.50
- Delivery - £21
- Administration - 3%
- Crowdfunder fees - 5%
- VAT (Sadly we have to!) - 20%
As part of the service; AEDdonate provides all the Administration, Essential Public Awareness Campaign, Window Stickers, Certificates and Ongoing After Care Services, available 24/7.
We are working alongside the National Cardiac Charity SADS UK to enable that every Child across the UK is safe if they suffer a Sudden Cardiac Arrest. 270 Children die in Schools every year through Sudden Cardiac Arrest, we want to cut that NOW!
Anne Jolly; CEO SADS UK: "All schools must now be equipped with a fire extinguisher, yet there is more chance of a cardiac arrest happening in schools, than a fire breaking out. Many lives have already been saved by those schools already equipped with an AED. If more schools follow suit even more lives can be saved."
The Reward Packages:
*The Cardiac Science G3 Automated Defibrillator is a leader in the market with the devices being chosen for sites such as Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament and the FA (Football Association). It provides fully automated voice insturctions to the user and only requires the user to place a set of pads on the patient, the AED will conduct the rest.
**The lockable, heated cabinet is a Ce-Tek Cabinet made of Mild Steel to industrial IP65/66 ratings. The cabinet is Vandal proof and electrically wired in to enable the heater and light to work. The heater is needed to keep the PADS in the AED above 5*C as they are gel based and can freeze.
