Fundraising Update
Thank you so much for the donations which have been received so far - in just three days we are over 20% of the way towards reaching our target of £500!
Let's keep on going and see if we can break our target to help support the amazing work that The Little Sisters of the Poor carry out.
Thank you for your help and support!
Day 1 completed!
So we have completed Day 1 of our Sponsored Walk and we have made a fantastic start!
So far we have walked as a school 223 miles so we are well on our way to our 300 miles target!
We are also delighted that we have reached our fundraising target of £500 to help the project! Donations are still being accepted and it would be great if we could beat our target and help The Little Sisters even more than we had originally hoped for!
Thank you so much for all of your support!

Day 2 completed!
A great day with our Sponsored Walk for Little Sisters Of The Poor St Joseph’s Care Home Manchester yesterday!
St Willibrord's have risen to our challenge as we always do! In our two days our children have walked 584.35miles and our fundraiser so far stands at £500! Some of our children are still determined to do some more miles over the next few days too!
An amazing achievement - thank you to the children for being so keen to complete their miles and thank you all for your help in raising this fantastic amount.
Mission Completed!
Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to our sponsored walk to support the amazing work of The Little Sisters of The Poor.
We had already completed our 300 miles by Tuesday - but many of our children wanted to push themselves even further and wanted to carry on walking further. So over the course of this week our children have walked an amazing 862.65miles!
We are very grateful for our sponsorship - and we are delighted to say that we have beaten our target of £500!
All the money is paid directly to The Little Sisters so this can be put to good use immediately.
Thank you once again for all your support!
Little Sisters Of The Poor is a home for the elderly that is close to our hearts. There work in Manchester began in 1862 and The Little Sisters have been dedicating their vocational service to caring for the elderly of all nationalities and beliefs ever since.
They open their hearts to all elderly residents showing respect, love and the upmost care for each person. They want to provide the best possible comfort for their residents and to do this, need our help.
The Little Sisters need our help to raise money for Opera Impulse Hybrid Mattresses that will provide advanced pressure relief at the highest level of comfort in for any resident who may need palliative care.
To do this, the Little Sisters in Plymouth Grove have organised a 300 miles sponsored walk. We want to support their mission, along with other local schools, by carrying out our own fundraising for this very worthy cause and support our local community.
Across the week beginning 24th May 2021 we are aiming to walk 300 miles as a school - we would love for you to sponsor us! All our children and staff will be taking part
Please join us in supporting The Little Sisters by sponsoring our staff and pupils. Any donation, no matter how small, will be most gratefully received.
Thank you for you kindness and support.
