A Roof Over Our Community

For nearly a century, Aldwinians Rugby Club has been at the heart of the local community, providing opportunities for children, young people, and adults to enjoy sport, develop friendships, and improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

Today, we need your help to protect one of the club's most important assets.

We are launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise £30,000 to replace a failing flat roof area situated between the club's pitched and flat roof sections. Years of exposure to the elements have left the roof vulnerable to water ingress, threatening the clubhouse facilities used by hundreds of members, supporters, school groups, community organisations and visiting teams every year.

Without urgent intervention, the deterioration will continue, increasing repair costs and potentially limiting access to vital community spaces.

The clubhouse is much more than a sporting facility. It serves as:

• A base for junior and senior rugby programmes
• A venue for community events and social gatherings
• A safe environment for young people to develop through sport

• Installation of new flat roofing materials
• Specialist roofing labour
• Ancillary building works
• Cope pointing repairs and materials
• New aluminium flashings
• Associated weatherproofing improvements

To ensure contingency and future-proofing, the club is seeking to raise £30,000.
