We're still collecting donations
On the 20th December 2024 we'd raised £182 with 6 supporters in 70 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our aim is to improve and enrich the lives of LGBTQ+ people living in West London and beyond.

What We Do:
West London Queer Project was born out of the desire to connect, support and give voice to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and other sexual and gender identifying (LGBTQ+) people in West London. Our organisation aims to improve the lives of LGBTQ+ people in West London and beyond.
We offer fun events, a safe space, a welcoming, supportive and safe environment to uplift, empower, and connect as well as advocacy, awareness-raising and change making activities among local policy-makers.
In four short years, we have hosted over 600 events, with over 80% of these being free to attend, while a further 9% of these being subsidised through The National Lottery, Sport England and Hounslow, Ealing and Hammersmith & Fulham Councils.
Five Year Strategy:
Our five year strategy includes improving on what we currently offer, rolling out our services into the neighbouring boroughs of Richmond, Hillingdon, Harrow and Kensington & Chelsea, and employing a 'Funding & Partnerships Manager' and a 'Community Engagement Officer'. These new roles will be vital in fulfilling our four pillars.
Four Pillars:
1. Let’s Talk (Mental Health, Wellness, and Sexual Health)
2. Let’s Get Physical (Sporting and Physical Health Activities)
3. Let’s Make a Difference (Advocacy, Education, and Awareness)
4. Let’s Have Some Fun (Social and Networking Activities)
Why We Are Fundraising:
As a non-profit community interest company, we rely on the funding from various organisations to carry out our work, however, in order to secure this funding, we are required to demonstrate the ability to self-sustain and to generate match funding from other sources.
Our current match funding comes from ticket sales, subs and donations, however we still need to raise a further £40k, thereby helping us secure our funding for the next 5 years.
On Thursday the 24th of October we are hosting our Inaugural fundraiser at the Broadcaster in White City where we aim to raise £20k, and with this crowdfunder, we hope to raise a further £20k.
We therefore kindly ask for your donations, be they small or large, to help us continue with the important work that we are doing.
Thank you.
