Aim

Helping the world understand ADHD and autism through comics, music, stories, and resources created from lived experience.

8DHD started with a simple idea.

Too many people grow up feeling misunderstood.

For years I struggled to explain what it feels like to live with ADHD and autism. The overwhelm, the racing thoughts, the sensory overload, the burnout, the masking, and the feeling of being different. Most people only see the outside. They don't see what is happening underneath.

8DHD was created to change that.

This project combines creativity, education, and lived experience to help people better understand neurodiversity. Through comics, music, videos, visual resources, and relatable stories, we want to show what life can really feel like for people with ADHD and autism.

Our goal isn't to focus on labels. Our goal is to build understanding.

The resources we create are designed for neurodivergent people, parents, teachers, schools, support workers, therapists, employers, friends, and family members. Anyone who wants to understand a little more.

The comics turn everyday challenges into relatable stories. The music explores emotions that can be difficult to put into words. The resources provide practical tools and visual guides that can be used at home, in schools, and in support settings.

Everything is created from real experiences.

We're not a large organisation. We're a small independent project built by people who live this every day and want to make a difference.

The money raised will help us:

• Create more educational comics and visual resources.
• Produce music and videos that raise awareness.
• Develop resources for children, teenagers, and adults.
• Improve accessibility and distribution.
• Reach schools, families, support organisations, and communities around the world.
• Continue building a platform that helps people feel understood.

Every resource we create has the same purpose.

To help one more person say:

"That's exactly how I feel."

And help one more person reply:

"Now I understand."

Together we can make the world a little more understanding, one story at a time. x.
