We're raising £400 to cover Fowey Town Crier Alan's expenses to attend the World Town Crier Tournament in Chester in September 2026.
Here in Fowey, we're really excited about the opportunity for our very own Town Crier, Alan Giles, to represent us at the World Town Crier Tournament. This prestigious event is happening in Chester from September 22nd to 26th, 2026, and Alan has qualified so Fowey can be there!
This is a wonderful chance for Fowey to be seen on a world stage with international press coverage. The funds we raise will directly cover Alan's essential expenses to attend the tournament in Chester, making sure he can proudly represent our town. It's an important moment to showcase Fowey and bring a bit of that international spotlight back home.
