Repair of riverside path - Dinham Millennium Green

Aim

To raise 20% of the total repair cost

Dinham Millennium Green is one of the most popular recreational sites in Ludlow. It is a protected green space for the benefit of the local community and is managed by the Dinham Millennium Green Trust (DMGT), a registered charity. “The Green” is run and maintained entirely by volunteers.

Last year a section of the riverside path had to be closed off as it had been dangerously undercut by flood water. After all the required assessments were obtained and an Environment Agency permit received, the path was repaired in September.

The works reinstated access from The Green to the weir and cost over £20,000. As DMGT is a charitable organisation, we receive no state or local authority funding. We are therefore hoping to raise 20% of the total project cost from the general public.

Can you help with a small contribution? Perhaps even just the price of a cup of coffee? Every donation, no matter how small, will be gratefully received. And please spread the word!
