Repair of riverside path - Dinham Millennium Green

Aim

We hope to raise 20% of the total repair cost

Dinham Millennium Green is a popular recreational site in Ludlow. It is a protected green space for the benefit of the local community and is managed by the Dinham Millennium Green Trust (DMGT), a registered charity. “The Green” is run and maintained entirely by volunteers.

Last year a section of the riverside path had to be closed off as it had been dangerously undercut by flood water. All required surveys and assessments have now been completed and a ‘permit to work’ received. Repairs can finally begin!

The works will reinstate free access from The Green to the weir and cost about £20,000. As DMGT is a charitable organisation, we receive no state or local authority funding. We are therefore hoping to raise 20% of the total project cost from the general public.
