Aim
Our aim is to walk/cycle 800 miles and do 1500 football kick ups to raise money for our youth football mini tour.
We are Jim, leroy and Mark, three managers of a youth football team who are going into year 4 of managing the team and love it!
With the impact of covid and everything associated to it our young players have missed out on previous fun activities and our mini tour.
Kids are resilient and strong but after the last couple of years really deserve some fun and we hope you can help!
This is the year! This year we look ahead to creating the best possible season with small and often fun days put on by us which will end with a mini tour expanding across Somerset.
Being a grassroots football club we of course don't get funding or have any revenue, therefore our best hope of making all of this a success is through fundraising donations and player contributions.
With every measure taken to keep cost down we are still looking at £1700 for all of our plans to take place, a secondary plan is more towards £600.
The cost of accommodation being the major influence in cost, a tour without accommodation isn't as grand but would still be fun.
