We are fundraising to help APAP respond to rising levels of homelessness and financial hardship in Enfield and Haringey this spring.
As a student at Westminster Business School, I believe that entrepreneurship is more than just starting a business. It is a 'practice' of taking action to solve real-world problems.
My vision for this project is to lead a team that doesn't just raise money, but raises awareness for the 'hidden' homelessness affecting our neighbours in Haringey and Enfield. I am committed to ensuring that every penny we raise goes directly to restoring dignity to those who need it most!
About the Team: Open Hands
We are Team 'Open Hands', a group of six dedicated students from the University of Westminster. Our team was formed with a single goal: to keep our hands open to help others. We combine our diverse skills in marketing, finance, and logistics to act as a temporary social enterprise for our local charity partner. We aren't just doing this for a grade; we are doing this because we believe in the power of community-led change.
Our vision is to support 'All People All Places' in their mission to provide a 'whole-person' approach to homelessness. We don't just want to fund a temporary fix; we want to fund the resources, like hot showers, laundry, and professional casework, that help people regain their identity and find a permanent pathway home. Our goal is £300, and with your help, we can make that a reality.
