This prize draw is running to raise money for urgent structural repairs to our radio ship 'Ross Revenge' in dry dock to secure her future
The Prize
SEVEN lucky winners could be the proud owners of one these very rare and collectable Status Quo framed gold and silver albums, singles and CDs awards recognising the band's UK music sales.
These unique accolades were presented to Grammy Award winning British CEO, recording engineer and music mix engineer Tim Summerhayes, who has worked extensively with Status Quo and many other iconic bands. Tim was awarded a Grammy in 2014 for Best Rock Album, for his recording of Led Zeppelin - 'Celebration Day'.
Tim has kindly donated these incredibly rare and collectable prizes to our Crowdfunder Draw to help us raise funds to get our legendary radio ship Ross Revenge into dry dock for structural repairs. They come with a letter of authenticity.
'I am immensely proud of these discs,' says Tim. 'They hold very fond memories of the times I spent working with Status Quo on those projects. Donating them to the Radio Caroline Dry Dock Appeal now seems the right thing to do in the hope that someone may appreciate them, even half as much me.'

5. Framed gold single in recognition of 400,000+ UK sales of copies of the Vertigo single 'Anniversary Waltz' 1991 (16" x 14")
6. Framed CD album in recognition of 100,000+ UK sales of copies of the Polygram album 'Don't Stop' 1996 (16" x 16")

The Cause
‘Ross Revenge' is in urgent need of dry docking, where surveys and structural repairs can be carried out. Our prize draws supplement our fundraising appeal to achieve our goal of securing the future of our historic ship for generations to come. The former pirate radio ship 'Ross Revenge' is still regularly broadcasting at sea today and more than 1,200 visitors tour the ship each year. The vessel is an important part of both deep sea fishing and broadcasting history. We are getting very close to dry docking but we need to raise more funds for the work to be carried out when the ship is out of the water
