Aim

Help Aldwick CC raise funds for new mobile covers to protect our wicket and keep cricket going for all.

Who are we?

Aldwick Cricket Club is a community-based club run by volunteers and supported by players, families, and supporters of all ages. We provide opportunities for people to enjoy cricket in a friendly, inclusive environment, from junior players learning and developing within the game to senior teams competing in the top divisions in Sussex. The club is proud to be a central part of the local community, offering not just sport, but a place for people to connect, develop skills, and share a love of cricket.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Cricket is a weather-dependent sport, and protecting our pitch is essential to keeping matches running. We are crowdfunding to raise money for vital new equipment, particularly pitch covers, which will help protect the wicket from rain and poor weather. Without proper covers, fixtures are often cancelled and the pitch can suffer long-term damage, leading to higher repair costs.

How we’ll spend the money raised.

The money raised will go directly towards:

Purchasing high-quality pitch covers.

Additional ground equipment to improve pitch maintenance.

Ongoing upkeep to extend the life of the wicket.
