Help Plymouth Leander travel to the National Arena Swimming League 2026

For more than 100 years, Plymouth Leander has been one of the country's most successful swimming clubs, developing swimmers from their very first competitive races through to regional, national and international competition. Our club has a proud history of producing Olympians, Commonwealth Games athletes and national champions, while continuing to provide opportunities for swimmers of all abilities to achieve their personal best.

This season, we are incredibly proud that our team will be competing in the National Arena Swimming League 2026. The Arena League is one of the UK's most prestigious team swimming competitions, bringing together the strongest clubs from across the country. Representing Plymouth Leander at this level is a huge achievement and an unforgettable experience for our swimmers.

Unlike many competitions, Arena League fixtures often involve travel to venues across the South West and beyond. As transport, accommodation and competition costs continue to rise, so too does the financial burden on our swimmers and their families.

Our aim is simple: to ensure that every selected swimmer has the opportunity to represent Plymouth Leander, regardless of financial circumstances.

Every pound raised through this campaign will go directly towards:

• Transport to away Arena League fixtures.

• Coaching and team management costs.

• Essential competition expenses that enable our team to compete.

By reducing these costs, we can keep the amount families are asked to contribute as low as possible, ensuring that selection for the team is based on talent, commitment and hard work—not affordability.

Swimming is often seen as an individual sport, but the Arena League is different. It is one of the few opportunities where swimmers compete together as one team, cheering each other on, building lifelong friendships and creating memories that last far beyond the pool. It inspires younger swimmers, strengthens our club community and gives every athlete the chance to be part of something special.
