Great Cornish films get made but never released. Back 606 to change that — professional distribution for films that deserve to be seen.
Cornwall makes world-class films. Mark Jenkin reaches Berlin, Cannes and Venice. Falmouth's School of Film & Television produces exceptional graduates. Screen Cornwall now funds development and production. Denzil Monk from Bosena is one of Screen International's "Brit 50 - Ones To Watch".
But here's the gap: distribution.
Over the past six years, I've had to turn down multiple Cornish feature films.
This happens constantly. Quality films get made, then sit on hard drives. Filmmakers pour years into their work, then can't get it seen. Traditional distributors won't gamble on regional films without star names or festival pedigree — even when the film deserves an audience.
We want to change that.

I'm Pat Kelman. I run 606 Distribution from Cornwall — the only film distribution company based in the South West.
Since 2018, we've released films that have won over 40 major awards internationally:

We've also brought Cornish work to wider audiences — coordinating the release of Brett Harvey's Long Way Back outside Cornwall, and working as booking agent for WildWorks Theatre Company's film I Am Kevin.
Testimonial:
"We worked with Pat on the theatrical and online releases of our feature film LONG WAY BACK in 2023. Pat’s knowledge of and connections within the UK cinema circuit, in particular the independent and arthouse network, enabled us to secure a significant cinema run across the UK, Scotland and Wales - with many screenings running additional concurrent Q and A events.. Pat is always a pleasure to deal with, he is a passionate cineaste whose love for film runs deep - meaning that he puts his heart and soul into the projects that he undertakes. I would highly recommend both him and his services." - Simon Harvey, o-region

Alongside distribution, we run Pat's Film Club a community that now programmes and coordinates multi-venue screenings across Cornwall, Devon and beyond.
Filmmakers deserve recognition. Audiences deserve access. The work deserves to be seen.
We're raising £70,000 to build Cornwall's first dedicated film distribution support fund.
£30,000 — Cornwall Film Distribution Fund
Ring-fenced money to support the release of Cornish films. This covers:
This fund will support 2–4 Cornish features with proper theatrical, digital and physical releases. Crucially, 606's share of any profits goes straight back into the fund — making this sustainable beyond year one.
£15,000 — Part-Time Distribution Support
Hiring someone to help me hit the ground running: administration, sales support, and logistics. This frees me to focus on what I do best — getting films to audiences.
£10,000 — Higher-Profile Titles
Acquiring established titles keeps 606 visible internationally. That profile benefits every Cornish film on our slate — buyers and programmers pay attention when you've got a track record.
£10,000 — Marketing Platform for Cornwall Creatives
Subsidised first-year access to industry-standard marketing tools for Cornish filmmakers, artists, and screening venues. After year one, it becomes a subscription service — sustainable revenue that stays in Cornwall.
£5,000 — Pat's Film Club Expansion
Building audiences within Cornwall and beyond. The more people trust 606's curation, the bigger the audience for Cornish films.
We're building a platform that brings distribution and marketing needs in one place for Cornish filmmakers and creatives:
This campaign will subsidise first-year access for Cornish filmmakers, artists, and screening venues. After year one, it transitions to an affordable subscription model — sustainable revenue that stays in Cornwall.
If you or your business wants to access the platform - purchase the relevant reward to take advantage of the subsidised rate.
The platform works for anyone who needs to get their work seen: filmmakers, writers, visual artists, performers, even small creative businesses. But the priority is Cornwall's creative community.
The Hardest Problem in Distribution
You can have the best film in the world, but if no one knows it exists, it won't find its audience.
Pat's Film Club isn't a mailing list — it's a tribe of engaged film lovers who show up, discuss, recommend to friends, and come back.
What started at the Plaza Cinema in Truro has already spread across the South West, UK and Europe.
Cornwall has one of the best film training departments in the country. We have an extraordinary seam of talent. Screen Cornwall has created funding for development and production.
Now is the time to complete the picture.
By getting involved early in a film's life, I can help filmmakers make decisions during production that will help their release. The earlier we start, the better the outcome.
The fund will financially support films that are distribution-ready, audience-worthy, but too risky for commercial distributors.
The Cornwall Film Distribution Fund is designed to last. 606's share of profits from supported films goes back into the fund and each release builds the next audience.
Founded in 2018. Based in Cornwall. Focused on authentic, sincere films — often by women directors, often featuring characters on the margins.
Our slate has been selected for Venice, Berlin, Cannes, and dozens of other festivals worldwide. We've worked with Charlotte Rampling, Juliette Binoche, Nina Hoss, and breakthrough talents like Helena Zengel, Trace Lysette and British director Eva Riley.
Every contribution helps build something permanent: Cornwall's first film distribution infrastructure.
Back this campaign, and you're not just supporting one film — you're helping create a sustainable system that will get Cornish films to audiences for years to come.
These are designed for the film fan who wants to support the project through Pat's Film Club.
There are tiers for every level of interest (each level includes the levels before):
These tiers are designed to help individuals or organisations to access the Marketing Platform at a subsidised rate, with differing levels of subscription and support. You could be a film maker, a film company, a small cinema, a film club, an artist or writer who needs to market your work to audiences. These tools will help you.
If you want a more hands-off way of showing your support, you can have your logo/branding positioned at one or more Pat's Film Club shows. There are two placements:
"Screening" Card (£100 - £4,000)

Your logo prominently displayed on the static card showing on screen before the show. This card is usually in full sight of the audience for at least twenty minutes.
You can choose Single Show (or purchase multiple times) or Full Year.
"Presented By" Card (£250 - £6,000)
This is the ultimate in on-screen visibility - your own card shown directly after the Pat's Film Club ident for at least ten seconds.

As this shows directly before the film, this means your logo/brand/name has the audience's undivided attention as they settle into the screening.
You can choose Single Show (or purchase multiples) or Full Year.
